FIRST SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP

Thank you (yes, that’s YOU, too!) for wearing a name tag today! It’s a wonderful way to help everyone connect and get to know one another. We invite you to stay after the service for treats. Take this opportunity to meet someone new today and enjoy this extra time together.

TEXTING – UPDATE (AS OF DEC 1!)

You may receive a new message this week asking you to opt into our text messaging by replying with YES. If you receive this message, it’s important to reply YES right away—even if you think you’ve already given consent—because receiving the message means you actually aren’t signed up for texting.

We don’t send texts often, but when we do, it’s for something important. Right now, only about 50% of our messages are being successfully delivered. It’s essential for us to reach our members with important announcements. While we hope to transition to app-based push notifications at some point, for now, we need to rely on texting. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to improve communication!

ADVENT SERVICES

Join us for Advent services on Wednesdays, December 4, 11 and 18, at 6:30pm. Come early and enjoy a free meal served each night at 5:30pm. This Wednesday’s meal is breakfast. We hope to see you there!

SEE YOU AT THE MOVIES

Mark your calendars for a fun evening with your church family! We’re hosting a free movie night featuring The Best Christmas Pageant Ever on Tuesday, December 17, at 6:00pm at the Mankato Cinemark River Hills Mall Movies 8. We’ve reserved two theaters just for River of LIFE, and this event is completely free for you to attend! To make sure we have enough tickets for everyone, if you haven’t already, please let us know how many will be coming from your family.

HELP WITH REFRESHMENT CLEANUP

We are looking for a few more people to help with refreshment cleanup after the worship service. It isn’t a hard job, just emptying the coffee containers and making sure things are put away around that area and in the kitchen. It only takes about 5–10 minutes. We hope to have enough people on the list so that you would only need to serve in that role once every few months, much like the vacuum rotation for the church.

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE

Join us for Christmas Eve services on Tuesday, December 24, at 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM. We look forward to worshipping with you!
