Sunday evening bible study is not meeting this week due to VBS.
NICOLLET COUNTY FAIR SIGN UP is now available
Represent River of LIFE by working a shift at the Nicollet County Fair booth. There is a clipboard signup in the narthex. An online signup will be sent out early next week. There will be a game for the kids, some things to give away and maybe some other fun that is yet to be decided.
FOOD SIGNUP FOR VBS
Reminder: If you signed up to bring food or supplies for the VBS meal, please bring them to church today. Thank you for your help. We were able to save a substantial amount from our budget because of all the donations we received.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL REGISTRATION OPEN
This year’s VBS is Monumental! July 31 – August 4 @ 5:45pm-7:55pm with a free meal each day @ 5:00pm. We have something for everyone Age 3-Grade 12. It is FREE to attend and we have 100 kids registered already. Even if you haven’t registered, you can still attend! Tell your neighbors and friends!
DRIVER’S NEEDED FOR MEALS ON WHEELS
Meals on Wheels is a program run by Lutheran Social Service that delivers a noon nutritious meal to seniors and/or shut-ins. Drivers are needed Monday - Friday from approximately 10:30am-11:30am for a one-week commitment. If you love it, you can sign up for more weeks. They will work around your personal schedule to find a time that works. For more information call Cliff Marx @ 507-934-8850.
SAIL EXERCISE GROUP LOOKING FOR CLASS LEADERS
The St Peter Stay Active & Independent Living for Life (SAIL) class is looking for volunteers that are interested in being trained to lead their strength, balance and fitness program that is designed specifically for adults over the age of 55. They meet in St. Peter (actually here at River of LIFE) on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:30 am-10:30 am. Please contact Mary Cassem @ 507-458-9687 for more info.
TWO SERVICES
Beginning September 11, we will be moving to two Sunday morning worship services. The services will be identical, we will just two service times to pick from. Services will be held at 8:00am and 10:30am. Sunday School, Confirmation and Adult Bible Study will take place from 9:15-10:15
