OPT IN FOR TEXT MESSAGES!
Due to updated regulations, we need your permission to keep you enrolled in our text updates. Last week, we asked you to reply “YES” if you'd like to continue receiving texts. While many have responded, we know some of you either didn’t receive the message or couldn’t reply. If that’s the case, please try texting “START” to initiate the opt-in. If that doesn’t work, use the button below to confirm 87447. We keep our texts to a minimum, sharing only essential updates like schedule changes, volunteer reminders, and other important announcements.
LCMS NATIONAL YOUTH GATHERING PARENT MEETING
We are excited to invite students currently in Grades 8-12 to the LCMS National Youth Gathering in New Orleans, happening July 19-23, 2025! All families should have received an email with important details about the trip, including information on airfare, registration costs, hotel arrangements and fundraising opportunities. If you did not receive this email, please contact the office. Questions talk to Jim Christenson. Deadline to register: November 15.
POINSETTIA FUNDRAISER – BUY YOURS TODAY!
This year, your poinsettia purchase will support the River of LIFE Youth Group. The plants will decorate the sanctuary during Advent and Christmas and can be picked up following the Christmas services. Proceeds will help fund the youth group’s trip to the Youth Gathering Conference next summer. Order forms are available in the narthex and online ordering is available. BUTTER BRAID FUNDRAISER
We’re excited to offer Butter Braids for purchase to support the Youth Group’s trip to The Gathering, their upcoming youth conference to New Orleans! Our goal is to sell 250 items to receive a bonus, so every order counts. You can order online by visiting the "Helpful Links" section on our website or app, which you can find right below the red line or stop by the table in the Narthex to place your order in person. Orders due: Sunday, November 10, delivery the week of November 18.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
River of LIFE Lutheran is partnering with Samaritan's Purse in the global mission project to bring Great Joy & Hope to children in desperate situations around the world and make disciples of nations by sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with them.
How to Get Involved: Families and individuals can make meaningful memories start a new tradition this Christmas season with a focus on giving and thinking of others by packing shoebox gifts for children in need.
Important Dates: The last day to drop off a box or make a donation at church is noon on Sun., Nov. 24th.
