LCMS NATIONAL YOUTH GATHERING PARENT MEETING We are excited to invite high school students to the LCMS National Youth Gathering in New Orleans from July 19-23, 2025. A Parent Meeting will be held today, immediately after the service in the Youth Room where we will cover important details such as airfare, registration costs, hotel arrangements, and fundraising opportunities. If you are unable to make the meeting, reach out to Jim Christenson for more information. First registration deadline: Oct 31.

 

FALL WORK DAY  Join us for our Fall Clean-Up on Sat, Nov 2, starting at 9:00am! We’ve got a list of tasks ready, and we could really use your help. The more hands we have, the easier the work will be. We hope to see you there!

 

POINSETTIA FUNDRAISER – BUY YOURS TODAY! This year, your poinsettia purchase will support the River of LIFE Youth Group. The plants will decorate the sanctuary during Advent and Christmas and can be picked up following the Christmas services. Proceeds will help fund the youth group’s trip to the Youth Gathering Conference next summer. Order forms are available in the narthex and online ordering is available. BUTTER BRAID FUNDRAISER We are excited to offer Butter Braids for purchase! Order forms are on the table in the narthex, an we have limited samples available for tasting today. Please have kids sample with an adult to ensure everyone gets a chance to try. You can also order online! Sales end November 10, so don’t wait! Proceeds benefit the River of LIFE Youth Group and help support their upcoming conference.

 

24-HOUR PRAYER VIGIL With the election coming up next month, it is more important than ever to pray for our country and its leaders. We invite you to join us for 24 hours of prayer on Tue, Nov 5. OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD River of LIFE Lutheran is partnering with Samaritan's Purse in the global mission project to bring Great Joy & Hope to children in desperate situations around the world and make disciples of nations by sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with them.

How to Get Involved: Families and individuals can make meaningful memories start a new tradition this Christmas season with a focus on giving and thinking of others by packing shoebox gifts for children in need.

Important Dates: The last day to drop off a box or make a donation at church is noon on Sun., Nov. 24th.
